<description>I have a bunch of contracts in PDF form. I would like to: 1) populate them with data from my Flex 2 application 2) save them to my server 3) edit them later, also in the Flex 2 application, without every user having to buy the full Acrobat -- this is a non-starter, however if "editing" only means changing the fields to be filled in in the Flex application prior to re-inserting them, this is OK -- i really do not want the users editing the terms of the contracts!

So you see I do not want all the power expense or learning curve of of LiveCycle (whatever that is, since Adobe changes names like my girlfriend changes hairstyles). I basically want to fill in an existing form and print or save it. Seems reasonable that I would be able to do this in PDF rather than import all the text into an XML file, put the XML file into a Flex component, and print using the native Flex printJob. After all, Flex is an Adobe product!

I think this might be of use to a lot of people, and is very pertinent to integrating various Adobe products. Thank you for your help.
